:Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: discussion

Maddie smiled and twirled in the breeze. "Ohhh, that feels sooooo good." She set her bag down on a bench and glanced over at George. "So...."

((Yay!))

Maddie raised an eyebrow. "Well?" She sat down on the edge if a fountain and put her hands in her lap. She looked up him, and tried not to blink. It made her seem slightly intimidating, and she knew it.

Maddie rolled her eyes for once. "You're stalling." She accused. "What are you so nervous about?" She crossed her arms and stared unblinkingly.

Maddie nodded and glanced down at the water. Her reflection stared back. She glared a little and turned away from the water. "What were you thinking about?" She asked curiously.

((Pffft-))

Maddie shrugged. "You had a weird look on your face." Her bracelet moved again and she fingered the charms. Every one of them represented something, and the crescent moon was the most important right now. "You wouldn't happen to know...maybe...who or what the prophecy may have been about, would you?"

Maddie glanced at it. "This? Oh, the charms all represent something that's important to me, or something big that happened to me. They're like little reminders that help keep me grounded." She pointed to the first one. "The raven is for...well, Ravenclaw. Getting sorted was huge for me...and being chosen for Ravenclaw was amazing. It made me feel.....like I belonged somewhere." She shook her head as if to clear it. "The mermaid represents my love of exploring....and the fact that I'm.... different." She pointed to a third one. "The Unicorn is...well, sort of a promise I made to myself, but I haven't fulfilled it yet." She winced as she pointed to the last charm. "The crescent moon is for......for....my first prophecy. It was...." She sighed and looked away. "I don't like thinking about it."

Maddie smiled. "Thanks. It...does sound pretty cool when you think about it." She grinned a little at the bracelet and slipped it back on.

Maddie looked at the water again. "So what?" She glanced back up at him.

((Well.....I'm drawing a blank on what to do next))

Maddie looked up at George. "You okay?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. She was about to say something else when Rowan walked out of the castle. She seemed to be....sneaking around. She was moving quietly and glanced around nervously, like she was scared of being caught.

Maddie looked up and squinted. "Isn't that....Rowan Fox? The Hufflepuff girl who.....well....hides a lot."

Rowan hadn't noticed them. She skirted along the edges of the courtyard in the direction of the grounds. Across the grounds in that direction was also the woods.

Maddie grinned mischievously and stood up. "What do you think?" She pulled out her wand and sneaked over to where Rowan had been standing. "Hmm...she's heading for the forest." She mused. "Wonder why."

Maddie smirked. "Of course." She sneaked forward once Rowan had made it out if the courtyard. She ducked behind pillars, rocks, and trees, as Rowan was paranoid and kept glancing behind her.
