This is a tale of a golem and a jinni who both end up in New York City in 1899.

Between this and Piranesi, I've had good luck with fantasy reads in February. The best part of the story was the journey. There is a plot in there, but the story telling meanders along, unrushed. Wecker does an excellent job of bringing her places and times to life.
