From reviews, it looks like the book Irish Gothic: Tales of Celtic Horror has a story about banshees.
David and the Phoenix has a banshee, though only in a small part. Not a horror novel, but one of my very favorite books as a kid.
I remember somebody telling me about banshees as a kid and it scared the hell out of me. So now I have unique draw to them and wish they were in more books.
There is a short story by Ray Bradbury called "The Banshee" in The Toynbee Convector. It was adapted to the Ray Bradbury Theater TV series too. A fictionalization of Bradbury's relationship with John Huston. (And a banshee.)
Christopher wrote: "I’ve just started this, so I can’t tell you how good it is. But it’s about a Banshee.
Shade of Pale"
Thanks for that! I read Kihn's Horror Show and liked it. I have Shade of Pale, but didn't know it featured a banshee.
