How are u liking the book?

I finished up to chapter 10 but I think the writing isn't working for me

Yes , even I think that the way she has written is too... childish and very much like the way Princess diaries was done. Also , the fact that Vivian just can't decide if she wants to do what she is doing and gets sudden,late night bursts of motivation and grit just doesn't sit right with me

Other than that I really liked how she(jennifer) dives into the topic straight away, in the first chapter - what with the "make me a sandwich", and does not make us wait for 10 chapters to write about what is the main theme of the story

Also the concept of school girls standing up for each other and doing things among themselves is really cool and fun to read about. What do you think?

I feel that when Vivian gets motivation at night and then fears losing it in the morning feels a little annoying to me. And as u said the writing is childish that's very problematic for me. I think for such a matter the writer could have written it in a little more serious way than I think it would have been more enjoyable to read. But still I am also having fun reading about all those.

What are your thoughts?

I think I liked the book but at the same time it was not "that" book. I mean , it surely had new themes and ideas about activism in school and hyped me up to do something myself.
The idea of an anonymous zine, exclusive parties etc. is really cool and all, but in terms of a story , it was really satisfactory.
Also, I really liked how they did not separate the "popular " girl and how she was a part of it all.

I have watched the movie as well and I think you should watch it if possible .
Seth Acosta , Claudia and Lucy are really well portrayed...
