Nick Duberley | 5 comments Try Harry Potter - it's about ...

Only teasing you. Some idea of what books/films you like would help.

Being ignorant is not the same as being stupid - but staying ignorant when you scorn a chance to learn is.

We all start life knowing nothing.

All the best - Nick

Keya (Good thought, Nick)

Well, I remember my first stay-up-till-2am five star read being Catching Genesis by Nicole Riddley
I loved it so much (Read it twice)

You can try it if you want. It's a YA fantasy romance.

Thank you, Nick For your consideration.
For the time being, I'm just trying to learn about myself through reading, thus my first option was a self-help book.
Since I enjoy Marvel films, I would like to delve into the fantasy and sci-fi genres.
Harry Potter may be too heavy for a novice like me:)

Thank You for suggestion Keya,
I can't say for sure that YA fantasy romance will pique interest but I will try it.

Hi,
I'm going to take a wild guess and assume your Harry Potter comment was tongue-in-cheek.

Fantasy comes in a lot of shapes and sizes. How about Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea books? - very much written for children, but enjoyable at any age. First book details here :-https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

all the best - Nick
