Hannah | 3352 comments Mitch Albom had lost contact with his former professor, Morrie Schwartz. When Morrie is diagnosed with ALS, Mitch starts going to visit and interview Morrie every Tuesday, discussing a wide range of topics including life and his illness and impending death among other things. I liked this book much more than I expected to, and I thought that Morrie was such a wise, caring person who died with a lot of dignity. I would like to read more by Albom soon.

Peacejanz | 1015 comments So true. I read this book when it first came out and loved it then (20-30 years ago). I will read anything that Mitch Album writes. He was a sportswriter for the Detroit newspaper when he researched and wrote this. He is a good writer and a good person - started an orphanage for homeless kids in Haiti. Thanks for the memories. Now, I have to go find my copy of Tuesdays with Morrie to put it on my tbr list after such a long time. Thanks so much. peace, janz
