Tom Brady is returning as the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next season, he announced on Twitter Sunday!!!!
The first time was a media hoax. The actual announcement I still think was the media pushing to step away. I never doubted that he’d play. Bucs defensive coordinator who used to be Jets head coach said Brady has earned right to play until he’s 60.
Reading today’s Morning Brew and apparently some people refer to the day as St. Patty’s Day. I am wondering though does McDonald’s still make Shamrock Shakes?
Read an amusing item. The reason Brady unrestored is he realized his golf game needs more work. Good as reason as any methinks.

Yes - I just had one yesterday

A music note. Dolly Parton will not be going into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. She has asked that her nomination be withdrawn as she feels she hasn't earned it, yet. She also intends to put out a rock and roll album in the near future. She has been wanting to do one for years and this has given her the impetus to try and get it done.
Scott Hall, co-founder of the NWO in wrestling, has passed away. It would appear it was the result of a heart attack, he had suffered several of them.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to one and all. I should warn you it is supposedly unlucky to wear green today if you are not Irish. And of course no special uniforms today as nonSpring Training games. Ah well, nothing is ever perfect.
Wish I read this before wearing my green dress shirt today. I am rarely in the office any more since we went to mostly remote work, but with today being one of those days and knowing I wouldn't be back on Thursday, I wore green.

I just read this and was wondering what took you so long to post wrestling news - but you are as good as advertised and put it up.

I crashed out after dinner and saw it after I woke up. I remember him as Scott Hall and in his other personas. Booze got the better of him though.
Have my St. Paddy’s Day playlist in the background. Four hours of music for the day, and I’m not even Irish.
Only about the above comment about bad luck to wear green today, and of course, that's what I am wearing...
Sorry. I think I confused the Ides of March and St. Patrick’s Day. So who gets betrayed today. I presume everyone remembers their Shakespeare.
The National Archives is hosting an event entitled "A Night at the 43". Sounds like fun, but given that it is happening in London I daresay a bit out of the budget. Ah well.
Jean is the brother of Denis and cousin of Marc but no relation to Felix. At least according to Wikipedia.
My oldest daughter (the thirteen year old) is watching something called Voltron. I have watched bits and pieces and this Voltron is not her father's Voltron.

I remember him not only for the Islanders but also the one season he spent with the North Stars before he went back to the Islanders. At least he got a ring to end his career

Watching the television for a change. Half the family is out, the wife at work and the boys wooding with their aunt and uncle. The girls are still in bed. Watching a competition programme Iron Chef . This is Masaharu Marimoto’s first battle.
For the record Morimoto won the Red Snapper Battle. Now watching a Broccoli Battle featuring Iron Chef Italian Kobe. Interestingly one of the judges for this battle is a former baseball pitcher.
I haven’t watched much basketball in years. So question for those of you who do- is traveling ever called? It seems like players can walk the court and no whistle ever blown. I’m a relic of watching NBA east of the 90s where defense ruled the day.

Personally, the biggest issue I have right now with the way the NBA game is called is the defensive fouls called when the offensive players initiate the contact, such as James Harden has perfected. Watching someone go 1v1, run into his defender, then shoot free throws ON EVERY POSSESSION is just not a viewing pleasure.
By the way, they also don't call 3 in the key or lane violations on free throw attempts anymore either. I'm tired of the NBA. It's just not basketball.
Só it’s not just me. I watched the last 5 min of Duke v Michigan St and then same issues- no traveling, questionable foul calling. And that was considered a quality game. It’s little wonder why I rarely watch. Son has gotten me hooked on soccer and hockey until baseball starts.

Mind you when I was studying theology at Wycliffe College in Toronto that was pointed out and one of the Americans studying there replied that hockey was our National Religion.
Interesting to read this when I have started getting interested in lacrosse. While I have only seen box lacrosse live, that will change in a couple weeks when Syracuse comes here to Albany - I will be at that one.

That’s more a star treatment - yes, James Harden will get that call and go to the line, but Jayden McDaniels won’t. The extra step has been allowed as long as I have played the game - and I started when there was no 3 point shot. The call that’s never done and which I agree with is three seconds in the lane, I will admit I’ve watched more of the NBA this year than I have in a long time. But then, that’s because my Timberwolves finally have a good team with a good coach.

Fun piece of trivia. When our First Nations played it was village against village and all the men turned out. This led to rather large, and unwieldy, teams. Thus the first part of the contest became “clobber your opponent before he clobbers you”. Once the number of players was reduced to a manageable level they went after the ball.
Lance can appreciate this. Enjoying a double-double and I didn’t have to go out in the rain to get it.
My youngest daughter tried it but didn't like it while my oldest son decided if she didn't like it then he wouldn't either. Looks like I get the box of ten to myself. No complaints here.
Two shipments in from Amazon today from two different couriers. First a couple of books, one on pro wrestling in Toronto which should bring back memories and one on British War Comics, specifically picture libraries. The one on wrestling I will likely save until after July 1st.The second one is coffee, more or less. One lot of Tim Horton’s product, coffee, cappuccino and hot chocolate. Also a mixed lot of Tassimo product and some Newfie Screech coffee. Still one book to come and some books from a publisher in the states.
The Ricketts family has pulled off an amazing feat. They have managed to get all Chelsea fans to agree on something, namely they don’t want them owning the team.
Two soccer notes1. Canada Surrey it’s first loss in qualifying for the World Cup but everything still looks good
2. Italy lost to North Macedonia and is eliminated. North Macedonia plays Portugal next and the winner of that goes to Dubai. The other European qualifying groups are a mess.
