I personally LOVEd this book! I connected with Lydia immediately and I feared for her the whole time!

A lot of people compare this book to The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck but I don't think I agree as this book is more about feelings than situations. To me it was more gripping as I could feel when Lydia was feeling and I came to care about her deeply!

I also loved how the author made me feel about Javier.

It's a great book and I can't wait to hear what y'all think about it!
