Hi, this is Eileen from mid-Michigan. Been reading TC since my best friend loaned me her mom's tattered paperback copy of Helter Skelter: The True Story of the Manson Murders in 1977. I too am unmarried but I have had a variety of pets over the years; at the moment the menagerie comprises 3 cats. My other interests include guerilla gardening and lousy horror movies with stupid-looking rubber monsters.
Hello from Texas!! First book that really sat heavy on my heart was a Child Called It, I was in middle school… ever since then I’ve been magnetized to NF books which eventually merged into True Crime. I’m also an avid Podcast listener. Currently hooked on one called My Funeral Home Stories.

I live in Canada on the West Coast and share a border with Washington State. I am obsessed with true crime, psychological thrillers and of course Stephen King horror novels. I am sure you will find lots of interesting books to read. Enjoy...!
Hi everyone!!! I just joined this group. I started listening to true crime in the form of podcasts since end of 2021, and I really wanted to connect with more people that are interested in this genre and discuss my thoughts as well get book recommendations. I read mystery, romance and horror as well. I am yet to read a nonfiction novel, even though I have one on my TBR. My other hobbies include dancing, scrapbooking and singing. Hope to interact with you all in the coming days <33

Welcome new people! I’m Stacey. Married 23 years with 3 kids, 1 toy Yorkie. I’m from Seattle, but currently living in AZ. I don’t post a lot, but lurk daily. I can’t pinpoint when my obsession for true crime started, but I find it so fascinating! It’s nice to be among like minded people 🤗

I am your fearless (and sometimes tyrannical) moderator (at least to the person I banned and others who banned themselves). I live in NYC and my first true crime book was Serpico by Peter Maas. I actually didn't read the book, I read the Readers' Digest abridged version, and it started a lifelong habit.
I'm unmarried, have no children or pets.
I have a page on Facebook, also called Obsessed with True Crime.
