everleigh is extremely small, even for her age. she only stands around 4'6" and has been mistaken for a little boy multiple times. she has short, red hair and a pixie cut. she doesn't like wearing feminine clothes and will often wear things like t-shirts and pants. this is mainly because she's not confident that she'd look good in anything girly but also for efficiency sake. everleigh has blue eyes and white skin.

everleigh isn't the most friendly one in the bunch. she's rather sarcastic and can be quite rude at times. she doesn't seem to show much respect to others around her and may seem a bit cruel at times. even so, there is one person she's surprisingly kind to. she's rather nice to Emeka and seems to enjoy the other girl's company. while she's seen as the local grouch, she isn't typically rude or anything towards the girl. if anything, she gets upset when others are rude towards her or say something upsetting. she's rather protective over her friend, despite being younger and well, probably weaker.
the female is definitely extremely self-concious about her appearance. she often wonders why she is the way she is. small and unlady-like. while she isn't particularly into romance, if she was, she'd likely have no chance as she looks like a child. she doesn't openly show this though, but perhaps that's why she's as loud-spoken and rude as she is. she's just trying to hide her insecurities.
the girl loves tinkering, which is one of the reasons she's an engineer for the riveters. she's always messing with something. because of this, she often gets involved with the scavengers, which is also how she came to know Emeke.
while everleigh is usually pretty calm and likes to use her brain, she's a bit hot-headed and a bit of a dick. though, all the sarcasm and such could just be her being a teenager. while she's a bit of a hot head, she's still quite reasonable and while she has trouble admitting she's wrong and won't normally do so, if it's for emeke she probably would. though, very begrundingly.

she spent her whole life within the riveters and was raised amongst them. she's never had any real friends though, which likely majorly has to do with her attitude. when she was young, her body was extremely weak and she was almost constantly sick. she's a lot healthier now, but as a child she couldn't exactly do as freely as she wanted. perhaps that's why she has such a bleak outlook on life. being on death's door constantly would do that.
she was often quarentined, so even if she wasn't always a sarcastic prick, she never had the chance to even attempt to make friends. though, she wasn't sure she wanted them. most people would make fun of her size or wouldn't stick around for her even if she's suffering.
she was an orphan most her life, as her mother died when she was two. her mother had been a scavenger and well, she ventured into the western wastelands and barely came back alive. though, it wouldn't matter as she died hours later.
since reading and tinkering was all the girl could do when she was well enough to not be dying, that's what she did. because of her constitution, scavenger was out the question and she needed to be helpful somehow.

- while she's a bit of an ass, it does just seem like her circumstances has led her to just not trust people and to grow bitter towards everything. it would make sense. after all, even while she was suffering all those years, not one person stayed by her side. no one stuck around and no one wanted to be around the sick girl, even when she needed comforting the most.
- lei often throws herself into work so she doesn't have to deal with things
- for such a small thing, she eats a lot if she has the chance to.
- she likes soft things.
