This thread is for discussing our winner after you have finished reading the book. In this thread, there is no need to use tags to mark any spoilers. Please be careful when reading this thread if you haven't finished the book - you might encounter spoilers!

I don't keep many physical books after reading them these days so this is a rare one retained to read again as I think there is a lot to think about.

Tweedledum (tweedledum) | 2168 comments I’ve only just got started on this but glad this thread has encouraged me to do so. The current Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has suddenly and shockingly brought Chernobyl back into sharp focus, has forced us all to contemplate the nightmare scenarios that messing with nuclear power brings. Whatever side of the fence you are on regarding nuclear power stations it’s clear these are here to stay even if they were all to be shut down tomorrow and it is imperative that we work together to manage the awesome forces we have unleashed.

We cannot and must not avert our eyes.
