Self-Published Only Club discussion

Joanie & I were talking today and thinking about starting our own engagement group. At first, I think we should only let in SP Only Club members. But as we learn and it grows we could open to others. What do y'all think? Is that something you would participate in?

Here's how it would work...

It's a private acct on IG that Joanie & I would be the admins of.

Those wanting in would send us a DM & Request to follow.

We would review & let them in.

Members can tag us in up to 2 posts a day

All members would be required to like all posts that were tagged in the group within 24-48 hours of being posted.

All members would need to comment on a minimum of 2 posts per week.

Joanie and I would do checks every two weeks. Anyone who didn't follow the rules would get a strike. 3 Strikes and you're removed from the engagement group.

I'm definitely in. I joined several recently and it's been a huge hellp with getting followers and post engagement. I don't mind adding another, and I don't mind helping if you need another admin.

We have created the engagement group. We ended up having to go with We.Lov3.Books. I will post here when we begin accepting follow requests. Probably within a few days. Joanie and I are getting all the rules and processes laid out.

Alright, Ya'll. Our engagement group is up and running. For the next few days, we will only let book club members in. That way all of you that want to join can, and we don't risk filling up.

We think we'll cap it at 50 followers for now. So the idea is you tag the group, everyone likes it, and that's 50 people engaging with your post. That helps it show up higher under hashtags and in other peoples feeds.

Please understand, that you must follow the rules. If you don't, you get a strike. 3 strikes and you're out. Please forgive us for that, but we have to make it fair for everyone.

Joanie and I have worked to line everything out, and make sure it's clear what's expected. I'll make a seperate post walking you through requesting to join.

If you're using an app, you'll need to find our account in the search. It's we.lov3.books

Once you get to our account, follow all three of the admins. That's me, Joanie, & self_published_only_club. All three are listed in the group discription. Then, please click message and send a message saying you want to join. Then click request to join. We will have to delete requests to join that don't send us a message, because they could be random people not realizing it's an engagement group. So be sure to follow all three steps.

Once you do, Joanie or I one will respond with a brief copy of the rules. We will ask you to confirm you're agreement, and once you do, we'll approve your request.

After you're approved, you'll need to read the detailed rules on the account feed. They're the only things on there right now, so it's easy peasy.

I hope this helps, but if you have trouble, please comment here. Also, if you already sent a request to join but didn't DM, please be sure to DM us by Monday, or we'll delete the request to join to open up spots for other people.

Oh, and also, please be patient with me and Joanie. We're learning, and with this being a holiday weekend, we might not immediately reply to your request. BUt don't worry. We will.

Um, guys this, I can't log into Insta now since my account was locked for 24 hours. I think I got put in Instajail! They didn't say why though. Maybe I followed too many people?
