A city within the metropolis of north west England. Located beside Blackpool and the coast, Theobury is an inner-city situated in Lancashire. The city may be a rising name amid the UK, on account of the growing number of migrators arriving each year, but its current standing gives a nod to the very heart of Theobury — Panford, a village supported by its incomes from the coal mines scattered within it. The place where it all began, the Panford was merely a village on its own then. As time passed, the foundations of the city began to grow around the village. When it had all but swallowed up the village, Theobury soon rose encompassing Panford with smaller suburbs and farmlands surrounding the city, making Panford its own central market district as well.

Like all of Great Britain, Theobury has a fairly cold climate. On average, the temperature is no higher than 20℃ (68℉), even in the summer months. However, the temperature not normally much below 0℃ (32℉), even in the colder months.

Throughout the year, it rains around 870 mm of water (34 inches), though it can change by year. The most rain falls in the winter months, although a lot of rain falls in the summer too. In the summer months, there are around 200 hours of sunshine for the entire month, but in the winter months there are only around 50-60 hours in the month.

Ley lines have long been the subject of myth and speculation. Invisible and mysterious, they are currents of energy that run around the world, connecting places of of spiritual importance. Many world wonders have been built along ley lines, often unknowingly. The gods and goddesses, of course, knew of these ley lines, and so did the Fates. After Pandora inadvertently released the spirits of evil from the Box with her curiosity, the Fates decided to transport the Box away from Greece to keep Elpis, Hope, inside and away from the careless hands of mortals.

The Fates used a ley line connecting Greece to a remote, then un-populated area in north west England. The spirit of Elpis remained tied to the pithos, as the energy of the ley line kept it from leaving. In England, they buried the pithos, where it remained in the ground for hundreds of years, until a young archaeology student stumbled upon the jar at a dig in Panford, the town that had sprung up around the source of energy generated by the Pandora's pithos and the ley line combined.

The ley lines, being a source of energy, both spiritual and physical, has aided in the Incarnates progression as well.
