Support for Indie Authors discussion

My publisher has provided me with 250 give away copies of my book in Apple e-book format. I am having very little success giving these away through face Book. Is it possible to give these away through goodreads?

HI Lucille! Goodreads does run giveaways but it's a paid service you'd have to look into. Apart from that, maybe look into some newsletter swap services? Or Story Origin or Book Funnel?

You can with a giveaway that you have to pay for. If you have an email list, offer it to them. Are you on twitter, booksagram, etc. you can use those.

I'll bet you never thought that it would be so hard to just give away books did you?

If you don't have an email list, give them away through a giveaway on a list builder site to get that email list going. That list can be a great way of selling books and getting reviews and finding beta readers in your genre.
