Chapter: 1

“Heather! Hey!” I called. Heather turned around and smiled. She waved to me and waited for me to catch up. “Hey, Bellie!” She always used that nickname for me. The reason behind this nickname was my name, Bella. I held her hand and asked, “How are you today?” She held my hand back and I smiled. “Great! You?” “Same.” She smiled back. She was just adorable! “Hold on, I have something to give you,” I held out a velvety box and opened it. “It’s a bracelet I bought from Pandora. Like it?” She nodded and took the box, carefully placing it in her bag. “I absolutely love it! It’s amazing! Thank you.” I nodded my head in welcome. “Where should we go today?” Heather thought for a moment, before replying, “Maybe we should go to a shopping mall, to buy some matching outfits.” I agreed with her, and we both headed to the mall, riding in a white Ferrari. I had just gotten my drivers license a few weeks ago, and since then, Heather and I have been riding around Florida to go sightseeing and window-shopping.

Chapter: Prologue

The bushes around Silverwing rustled as Nettlefrost came into view. Silverwing eagerly stared from the stars, into the lake below. “Don’t worry about them, they’ll be fine. After all, they have survived many disasters,” Nettlefrost commented, settling down next to the silver she-cat.
“It’s just so worrying, especially with the new prophecy.” Silverwing muttered. How could she not worry? The clans were sleeping peacefully, and hopefully, the peace would remain for the many moons to come. She stood up, stretching her legs. Perhaps they will be fine.
“Let’s go, Nettlefrost. We should send them the prophecy.”

Chapter: 1

“Fox dung!” Tawnycloud cursed when a squirrel escaped from her grasp. Even after leafbare, hunting hadn’t gotten better at all. She had to feed the clan before they starved.
Tawnycloud padded around, looking for signs of prey. Out of the blue, she heard a rustle coming from the leaves a few tail-lengths away. She dropped into a hunting crouch and crept forward slowly. When she opened her mouth to taste the air, she smelled vole. She felt the wind blowing towards her. Good. The vole scrambled out of the pile of leaves.
Tawnycloud leaped and heard the reassuring snap of the vole’s neck, once she bit down. She happily picked it up and strolled towards the Thunderclan camp. Finally, she caught some prey!
She started padding towards the Thunderclan camp, when she heard a loud yowl. Some cat was in danger! She dropped the vole and ran as fast as she could towards the direction of the source of the sound.
I hope no one got hurt...
As she was nearing to the yowl, she saw a dog carrying Skypelt in their jaws. She leaped onto the dog that was carrying him and bit it’s hind leg. It yelped in pain, dropping Skypelt.
“Quickly, run!” Tawnycloud hissed to Skypelt.
As they raced back to camp to alert Birchstar, they felt the dog’s damp and hot breath on her hind legs. Faster! It was no use. She turned around to attack the dog, slashing the it’s muzzle and scratched its right eye. It bit her tail, growling viciously. However, the dog recoiled, when she swiped at its ear, and whimpered, ready to retreat. She gave it one last hard blow on its tail before letting it go. She yowled in triumph.
“Amazing! I would never have done anything that brave! Thanks for saving me!” Skypelt exclaimed
“I only did what what any cat would have done,” Tawnycloud replied.
As they walked back to camp, Tawnycloud felt like her pelt was on fire and that she was exhausted. She tripped on a branch and fell, groaning from the pain. For the rest of the way, Skypelt needed to help her back to camp. When they got back to camp, they reported the dog incident. Lighttail saw Skypelt wounds, and gasped, but when she saw Tawnycloud’s wounds, she nearly fainted. She urged Tawnycloud and Skypelt into the medicine den, reprimanding them for allowing themselves to be hurt in such a way.

Chapter: 2

Tawnycloud was walking around in the forest. She just couldn’t sleep even after the dog incident. Lighttail had already treated her wounds but said that Tawnycloud would be suspended from warrior duties until her wounds had healed. Luckily, her wounds had already healed.
It was pouring. The sky was gray with dark and stormy clouds hanging above them, and nobody could see anything through all the rain. Fortunately, the warriors had patched up all of the dens. It had been a moon since the dogs attacked Skypelt. Since the dog attack, everyone had been talking about it. Tawnycloud was already up and about, doing her warrior duties.
That day, Birchstar would be choosing the cats going to the gathering. Birchstar chose a couple of cats, and Tawnycloud was thankful that she was one of them. The gathering was crowded with cats she didn’t know, and she decided that it was time to meet some new cats!
“Hello! I’m Tawnycloud from Thunderclan!” She introduced herself to a black she-cat who smelled like Shadowclan.
“Hi. I’m Moonshadow. I’m Shadowclan’s deputy.” Moonshadow replied.
“Cool! Oh look! The gathering is starting.” Tawnycloud whispered to Moonshadow as they settled down.
“Today, Thunderclan has not much news to share. Our prey is going well and there are no signs of danger in our territory.” Birchstar started.
“Same with Windclan, Birchstar. Nothing needed to be reported. It has been quite peaceful.” Rabbitstar said.
“Riverclan has seen and heard some Twoleg kits but we can handle it, as they often come during greenleaf.” Stormstar told the clans.
“Shadowclan’s prey has not been going that well but we can handle it.” Oakstar announced as Clearstar said the same afterwards.
“Then this gathering has come to an end.” Birchstar said politely.
“I guess we need to go back. I hope we get to talk the next gathering. See you!” Tawnycloud padded away.
“See you too!” Moonshadow said to her before leaving with Shadowclan.
