Dungeons & Dragons Experiment discussion

The worst year to be alive in human history. During this time, the western roman empire had fallen to barbarians. the eastern roman empire in response launched a long reconquest of the former western roman empire. Finding great success in north Africa. As well as retaking Italy from the Ostrogoths. Though during this year the offensive stalled as the Lombardi tribe stormed into Italy. The Romans began to bicker between generals. The barbarians quickly capturing the war ravaged country side. While the Roman garrisoned cities held strong. Then to make things worse, God has shown his displeasure at humanities many wars. Blocking out the sun. The crops cannot grow, the animals that feed on them starve and in return people starve and turn to cannibalism. Those who are malnourished become harbors to disease and outbreaks of the plague of Justinian have appeared everywhere. Many wonder if this is indeed the end times as foretold in the book of revelations.
