I've been in a particular mood, and I think I'm craving more second chance romances. Any recommendations? Here are some of my favourites:

I have a shelf that I clearly forget I have sometimes. However, it’s got more suggestions:

That does look really sweet! Thanks for the list @Joanna! So, I kind of went through my romances (was a bit of a project), and was inspired to make a shelf just for second chance romances; notably there are quite a few I completely forgot about, but quite a few of them are contemporary and not historical: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
Wow! Thanks for the list. People We Meet on Vacation can also fit in.The Revenge of Lord Eberlin this is really nice. Its part 2 .
The Year of Living Scandalously is the 1st part.
My all time favourite
The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever
There are some older historicals that can be addedThe Nomad Harp
Miss Ware's Refusal
Lord Greywell's Dilemma
I liked all 3, though Miss Ware just about makes the cut.
BJ wrote: "Miranda Cheever is a favourite angst re-read for me."That's the best combo I find! haha. Adding it to my priority shelf!
Christine L. wrote: "I adored Unforgiven!!! I can't wait for Remember Love to come out as it's also a second chance!"Yes I liked all of the Horsemen trilogy books. My fav was Irresistible, (although it's not second chance). Nathaniel!
I hope the new Mary Balogh is good too. Some of her books are amongst my fav ever HRs.
Hi! I love this trope so much. I’m currently reading At Your Pleasure by Meredith Duran and it’s giving me so much life with this trope! Very Persuasion-esque!
Im trying to remember a book, where the H actually divorces the h and goes off to war, comes back with PTSD and realizes the fall in her stature( shes an Earl daughter) plus he also has a son. Ive been going through so many lists to find this one.

@Leena- Hmm, don't think I've read that one, but maybe someone else has.
It's an older Historical but fantastic. I've read so many obscure books thanks to Scribd, and I've not kept record of. Sigh (:but, the minute I come across the bk, I'll let the group know.
Does the Marietta Danver trilogy count ? The romance with Marietta and Derek is constantly being shattered and repaired. Not to mention her relationship with Jeremy lol
Just reading The Lady's Sinful Secret its a beautiful second chances hea. The first book An Invitation to Scandaltoo is second chances and its not bad 3.5🌟
Thanks for the suggestions! I've been meaning to read A Rogue by any Other Name and Falling in Love Again sounds like my cup of tea!:) I totally forgot about Persuasion before!
Lauren wrote: "I love Persuasion. It's my favorite Jane Austen." I totally understand why! It deserves a re-read.
Christine L. wrote: "Lauren wrote: "I love Persuasion. It's my favorite Jane Austen." I totally understand why! It deserves a re-read."I did it with another group and its was such fun, especially the discussion. Its such a mature book, and rhe slow burn - woow !
