((A common meet up place, where Lee eats breakfast almost every day and where Lee and whiskey sometimes meet))

Livi walks in, waiting for Nova who stopped outside for something.

Nova was talking with someone before she headed in. "Sorry, my bodyguard is acting up today...so I let him have a off day, but he doesn't want to." She sighed.

“uh huh” she said, distracted by someone standing in a dark corner looking at them. “Do you know who they are?” Livi says, pointing in their direction.

She looked and then returned her gaze at Livi. "No. But I think they're from our gang." She said.

“Oh,” she said. “Anyway, what were you saying about a bodyguard?”

"Oh...um yeah. My bodyguard....he's a bit complex, but as far as he knows, you're my friend from high school." Nova said.

Nova seemed to notice the girls stare as she looked away.

Although Nova had dismissed the person in the corner, Livi’s attention kept snapping back to her. “We should go talk to her,” Livi said to Nova, and tried to pull her over to the corner.

Lee arrived at the cafe and ordered a breakfast burrito while she waited for whiskey.

Nova looked again.

Livi stood awkwardly as they all looked at eachother.

Whiskey quickly arrived at the cafe, spotting Lee at the counter. However, she saw April from the corner of her eye, eying two girls who looked familiar.
Walking toward them, she said, "Hey April. Who are these people?"

Lee walked over. She looked at the two people, and though they were familiar looking, she couldn’t place them. She handed Whiskey a Coffee.

Whiskey took the coffee. "Thanks," she said, glancing at Lee and then back at the two people.
"They seem familiar to me too. Who are you guys?" she directly asked them.

“Hey, I’m Livi and this is Nova,” She glanced at Nova, then looked back. “I’m gonna let her explain why I’m familiar. I will be right back.” She left to go get some coffee, laughing at Nova’s expression.

"We've met at hq once. I didn't really show up but Chorale and Melody did." She said.

"If you didn't show up, how do we know you?" Whiskey asked.

"You've seen me at least once at the hq and once right now." Nova said.

Lee rolled her eyes. “Get to the point.”

"Why do you guys care so much? Like Why?" She asked, annoyed.

Swagger strolled into the cafe cheerfully. "Well she brought me coffee, she brought me tea...she brought me everything, 'cept the darn factory key." He sung, just muttering.

Swagger sat directly behind Harper's table...just because. He would glance at her and flash a smile before he sat and takes out his phone.

Lee snorted. “Maybe, oh I don’t know, because we do illegal things almost daily and that line of work means you can’t trust new people?”

Livi returned, startled at the small argument. “Guys, guys, calm down. Why are you arguing? Did I miss something?”

"Nova here is just annoyed that we're asking her how we know her." Whiskey rolls her eyes.

Swagger smiled uncertainly. "Gee, did I do somethin' to her?" He asked himself as she stared at him with a mean look.

Swagger flinched at her now kind-looking face. "Oh, um..." Swagger stuttered a bit before cooling down. "Name's Swagger. Nice to...meet cha." He smiled a bit. Usually, he would say 'nice to beat cha' but it seemed wrong at the moment.

"Yeah, cuz I'm one to talk." She said, annoyed.

“Nova, please. It’s for the better if we’re all on the same side. We need them to trust us,” Then, taking a deep breath, Livi said quietly to Whiskey, “I need to tell you something later. Something that you need to know.”

"Yeah yeah, and let them cheat us again? No way ever!" Nova said, her voice hitting notes she'd never said in a long time. Covering her mouth she looked down in embarrassment, her bodyguard on alert.

“Well you just met me, why do you trust me so much?” Livi’s voice was getting more desperate and angry. “You would better off trust them then me!” She was almost yelling now, and many people were looking at them.

"I do trust you, because you seem trustworthy. I just don't trust others so often." She said, bursting to tears in anger and fear.

Swagger looked at her with a questioning look and slowly reached for her hand. Once he took her hand and started to shake it, he gained more confidence and smiled brightly. "Charmed!"

Swagger blinked. "Uh, dunno. Never been here. My chums come 'round here a lot, but this is my first time, ya know? Got any suggestions, lady?" He asked, letting go of her hand.

"Black coffee." He repeated and shivered. "That's too...yuck!! I wonder if they got pink lemonade up in this joint." He said to himself, grabbing a nearby menu.
