June's book is Luck of the Titanic by repeat author Stacey Lee.

Lee's newest historical fiction focuses on Valora Luck, a British woman of Chinese heritage, who has dreams of being an acrobat in a New York circus. Her way to get there? The ill-fated Titanic.

Our first book by Lee, Under a Painted Sky, was featured by us in late 2018. Did you read that book, or have you read any of Lee's other novels? What are your expectations for this one? How do you feel about books that have obvious misfortunes--like the Titanic's inevitable sinking?
