For the first time in forever im smiling
It’s been a while since I last cried
The last few months everyone has heard my real laugh
Despite the lows in my life I always seem happy
I’ve been begging for someone to give me the feeling that you give me
My emotions are no longer bottled up as much as they were before
I get ecstatic whenever I hear from you
You push each and every single one

My hair is shiny, my cheeks are rosy, my skin is silky smooth
They poked and prodded and had their way and I can barely move
The pedestal I sit upon has been lowered to the ground
There's no way out of the bed I made and now i’ve almost drowned
Drowned in their misery, choked by their sorrows, gone till tomorrow
Im beyond recognition, I'm a mystery to me
I miss the girl I was, before they got to me
