What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This was a book I read when I was younger, in the late 1990's-2000's. There was a family - not sure if it was kids or bunnies - that were coloring easter eggs. But suddenly the eggs began hatching and the chicks were the color of the eggs - so they had blue, red, yellow, green etc. chicks running around.

It had great illustrations, Jan Brett-like pictures from what I remember.
