((I'm making this a thread for publicly reposting messages sent as broadcasts to group members.))From the Priests for Life newsletter:
At lookatabortion.org, one of our Priests for Life websites, not only will you find powerful and heartbreaking images of aborted babies but also testimonies of babies saved after individuals looked at these photos.
Photos include aborted babies I have buried over the years, other images put together by my colleagues Monica Miller and Gregg Cunningham, and also the early and late term babies most recently found in Washington, DC. Some of those bodies are still being held at the DC medical examiner’s office and being denied a proper burial.
The comments that people have made include people who converted from pro-choice to pro-life because of the photos, silent pro-lifers provoked into action, and of course babies saved, to name a few.
Here are a few examples:
“…. My Fiancé and I have been back and forth about the decision to keep our baby.... because we are not married yet, after seeing your website and the pictures I have no regrets. After seeing these pictures and understanding the gruesome way this is done there is no way I can do it! We both feel it’s a blessing and God will not give either of us more than we can bear.... we are realistic that it will not be easy but we have each other and we can do it! Thank you again.....I promise to inform as many people I know about the realities of abortion I am 28 and I have never been told how it is done what it looks like and I guess until now never wanted to know for selfish reasons..... It makes it easier I think but everyone should know.”

“I am 11 wks pregnant and considered having an abortion. I've always been very religious but this was a consideration of mine until now. I can be told how and what the procedure does but never did I really know what it looked like and the aftermath of the child until now. It was very disturbing to see but unfortunately true. I am ashamed to have always been pro-life and considered doing this. I ask GOD to forgive me personally but will say that there was a reason I found this website and it literally changed my heart as well as my mind. I would like to advise to young girls, women that this is not the only option. Every child deserves to be born and live. They are human just like us. We choose as human beings to make love, but God chooses when we create life.”

“I considered an abortion when I fell pregnant with my son, I visited your website and was physically sick. Now when I see these images it makes me hug my 8 month old precious baby boy a little bit harder. Please find attached a photo of my son, who without yourselves would not be here.”

“A friend of mine recommended me to your site because I told her I was going to have an abortion on this coming Friday. I couldn't help but to just stare at the innocent babies that were killed. Just a couple of hours ago I was saying to myself "I wish I can just get a sign to whether this is a good idea or not". I am 3 months pregnant now and I am actually going to go through with this pregnancy. Thank you.”
Again, you can find these photos at www.lookatabortion.org. On that page you will find photos of babies at early and late gestational ages, obtained from trash cans and medical waste companies.
As you see in these comments, a key reason these lives were saved was that somebody invited a friend to look at these pictures. We urge you to be that somebody. Please share these photos far and wide especially if you know someone considering an abortion.
Please note that though the photos display the reality of abortion, they may not be appropriate for everyone. Do view at your own discretion.
Hmmm, for some reason the priests for life website doesn't seem to be working rn, guess it's having a bit of a malfunction

From the pro-life group on Quora.Pro-Abortion. Pro-death. Anti-birth. Anti-life.
So much for promoting “choice”. I am so thankful the our country gets to see things like this in real time. Completely dissolving the pro-abortion movement's lie that they care about “choice”.
Make no mistake: this pro-abortion movement is pure evil. Not an ounce of good in their souls. Not a single one of them. They advocate for one choice only. Always have and always will. They are a culture of death.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who recently signed two pro-abortion executive orders, will veto
more than $20 million in funding for adoption and pregnancy services in the state. The governor also vetoed such funding last year.

https://www.liveaction.org/news/michi...
The $21.4 million in funding is part of the Department of Health and Human Services budget and is used to promote adoption of infants, to develop factual educational information materials on adoption, grants for safe housing and comprehensive support services for pregnant women including access to health and prenatal care, parenting and life skill development, and services and education for a stable transition to independent living. The funding also includes grants for a program that would promote childbirth, a tax credit for adoptive parents, grants to pregnancy centers, and a pregnancy and parenting support services program that promotes childbirth, grief counseling, and alternatives to abortion.
The funding would also pay to provide notice to health care providers and the public that the DHHS will not use certain funds to pay for any elective abortion, which is defined as the intentional use of an instrument, drug, or other substance or device to terminate a woman’s pregnancy for purpose other than to increase the probability of a live birth, to preserve the life or health of the child after live birth, or to remove a fetus that has died as a result of natural causes, accidental trauma, or a criminal assault on the pregnant woman, according to M Live.

“The governor claims to be a voice for ‘choice,’ but her actions clearly support only one option for women in a crisis pregnancy – the deadly choice of abortion,” said Rep. Thomas Albert (R-Lowell), chair of the House Appropriations Committee. “The governor is doubling down on her self-contradictory belief that abortion is somehow ‘life-sustaining,’ as she has stated in the past. It is shocking that the governor, and her far left political base, are now so extreme that helping pregnant women who might consider adoption instead is now a bridge too far … Let’s be clear – this funding is not about access to abortion. It’s about helping women in need and actually sustaining life."
“A flight attendant who alleges she was fired from her position due to her vocal religious opposition to abortion and union dues being used to support abortion-related causes has won a $5.1 million federal lawsuit against her former employer and union. The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation announced in a statement Thursday that Charlene Carter, a pro-life Christian who formerly worked as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines, prevailed in her religious discrimination lawsuit with the airline and the Transportation Workers Union of America.”Read more at the Christian Post: https://www.christianpost.com/news/fl...
THINK.
In the past, unions were effective at pressuring employers to provide fairer working conditions and wages. Today, unfortunately, many unions are also effective at pressuring workers to support causes contrary to their beliefs with their union dues. We can take a lesson from Carter, who expressed her concerns and stood for her convictions. In other pro-life news, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) has authored a bill attacking pro-life pregnancy resource centers, also known as crisis pregnancy centers (see more at https://www.lifenews.com/2022/07/17/e...). The Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation Act, which was introduced in a Senate committee last month, gives authority to the Federal Trade Commission to subject any pro-life pregnancy center that is determined to be making misleading claims about abortion or the services they provide. It is not defined what sorts of claims would be considered unlawful. The goal of this bill was made clear by Senator Warren. “We need to shut them down here in Massachusetts and we need to shut them down all around the country,” she stated. The positive impact pro-life centers have had over the years is staggering (see more at https://www.christianheadlines.com/co...). One article notes that they have saved over 800,000 babies between 2016 and 2020 and provided roughly 266 million dollars in services to parents in one year, through almost 53,000 volunteers and 15,000 staff. Senator Warren’s own bill acknowledges that these lifelines of hope outnumber abortion facilities nationwide by an average of three to one, often serving under-resourced neighborhoods. And yet, they are being attacked. Last week, two pro-abortion bills passed the U.S. House, one of which, the Women’s Health Protection Act, aims to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law. This bill was also attempted before the Dobbs decision. It is likely to fail in the Senate. I am reminded that while elections for state offices are crucial after Dobbs, we cannot forget that all 435 seats in the US House are up for election this year. The Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) has a revealing list of their policy goals to enshrine abortion and sexual license into our laws. It is a startling picture of what may happen if Christians disengaged from the voting process. If leftist policymakers are given their way, pro-life Christians will not be left alone to live according to our convictions. In some way, we will be forced to go along with the pro-abortion agenda or else face the consequences. That is why we stay engaged and vote now, while we still have considerable cultural influence. Otherwise, if we start to care only when the cultural forces affect us personally, we may have lost the opportunity to secure our freedom to serve God and others publicly.
PRAY.
Please keep your local pregnancy resource centers in your prayers continually. Pray for more volunteers and resources from generous believers. I encourage you to read 1 Peter 3:12-17, and 4:16-19, and pray for Christians to stand firm and trust God as we do His will, even as we face opposition.
ACT.
Do you know where your nearest Pregnancy Resource Center is located? With over 2,700 centers across all 50 states, there's likely one close to you. When a pregnant woman visits a Pregnancy Resource Center, she is often given a gift basket of baby items. A simple pack of diapers can humanize the fact that a baby is growing in her womb. We invite you to take our pledge to donate a pack of diapers to your local pregnancy center (we’ll let you know the nearest center to you here: https://www.myfaithvotes.org/pledge-t...). Then, invite a friend to join you!
This was from the MyFaithVotes newsletter, which I highly recommend. You can sign up for it at https://www.myfaithvotes.org/.
Hello everyone,I have been quite busy these last few months, but today I wanted to bring your attention to a pressing issue. If you live in Michigan or know people who do, please pay attention.

"This amendment was written to deceive voters into PERMANENTLY altering our state constitution to enshrine the most radical, extreme, and dangerous abortion laws in the whole nation. If this passes, Michigan will be the state with the most EXTREME abortion law on the books, permitting abortion in situations that over 80% of Michiganders reject year after year." (Please go to https://stopabortionextremism.com/ to learn more.)

Again, if you live in Michigan, you have the power to stop this insane abortion amendment.

Good that this deceptive legalise is being decoded for us! I didn't know you could change votes with this kind of thing
Great job getting this info out, Lily. I'm praying for voters in MI to make their voices heard for those who don't yet have a voice - precious little unborn babies whose rights count, too.
