Hi people. If anyone has any tips on writing romance (even just casual dating) I am in desperate need. I cannot write romance to save my life. (I'm aroace and have never even had a crush before...I have no experience). I probably should start added some relationships into my books and dont know how. Pls help.
So this is really random, but I found my original draft of the book I've been working on for years (I was eleven when I wrote it). I'm on my fourth draft now I think, but oh my god it's terrible. Like I don't know why little sixth grade me was thinking. And I turned it in for a grade. Like what in the world. So much has changed in the book and now its like three times the length but I just thought it was hilarious and thought I would share. Thanks for reading my pointless rant :)

ooo okayyyy
well, my recommendations for writing romance: make sure that both of the characters are fleshed out, make sure that you know everything about them and how they came together and why before you even start writing
and then just make sure they’re in tune with each other
make it known to the reader that they understand each other and are there for each other
does that make sense lol
