2017 Reading Challenge discussion

Okay, so I know this isn't technically a graphic novel but it does have chapters so I'm going to let it count.
Maybe I'm just used to the TV show but I was not much of a fan of the comics. It didn't bother me that the story lines are mostly different, it bothered me that the characters were so different. There really aren't that many redeeming quality to the characters. I hate just about all of them, except for Glenn and Andrea really. The comic is definitely more gory and risque than the TV show. I'll probably still read the rest of the comics though because it is interesting to see how different the story lines run.

I just finished Volume 1 today. I liked it, although I haven't read many comics or graphic novels to compare it to. There were some differences from the TV show. I imagine the story lines will veer apart even more in the subsequent volumes.
