"-For the record, he had it coming for him" the blonde had her head tilted as she thrummed her fingers against her arm, licking her lips with a tad anxiousness.

"He shouldn't have touched her." Iris sang, sitting up, moving almost too feline-like. "You understand, right? Why I had to break his nose and a few ribs. He won't hit her again. That's for sure."

Ross nodded in agreement. "Of course. You're not in trouble, Miss Evern." They leaned back in their chair, watching her with that ever-calm expression. "What I do need to know is if this is a repeated behavior, or just a one-time thing. To determine just how harshly he needs to be dealt with." They twirled a pen between their fingers as they spoke - a sort of absentminded fidget.

"Not really sure. I just try to observe everything the best way I can." Iris shrugged and crossed her legs. She looked at them with a calculate expression. "I do appreciate the confirmation though."


He'd probably end up doing it again. It was just a matter of with whom. Would it be the same girl again? Or some second year with daddy issues wanting to flaunt a boyfriend. Iris shivered to the thought. That was her, not even two years ago.

Ross was silent for a moment, thinking. Then they cracked a small smile. "I got into my fair share of fights too when I was your age, for even lesser reasons. You've got good ones." They drummed their fingers on the table, glancing at Iris. "Like a teenage Batman. I like it." The headmaster had a pretty calming aura around them. They never got angry, never raised their voice - although they had some choice words in mind for the asshole this conversation was about later - and they always seemed so confident in themself.

"Batman wanted to spread vengeance on those who had been involved in his parents murder. Not entirely accurate, but I know how it is to fear a mans touch. That's one of the only reasons I am so in depth with it." Iris touched the edge of the desk.


"Speaking of which-- Have you any updates on aryn? His whereabouts? Any sightings?" She had a deep and relaxed look on her face. Like she had to force herself not to care.

//Aryn is the man mentioned in Iris' history. We don't have to go into depth with it, but maybe she made an agreement with them to hunt him down or something? Idk? or just keep an eye out.//

"Fair." They nodded. "Still, I appreciate what you're doing. Makes it a lot easier to find them." At the mention of Aryn, Ross sighed quietly. It was obvious that they were troubled by him, the fact that they hadn't managed to find him yet. "No. Not yet. But we will. He can't hide forever." They offered Iris a comforting smile.

rolling her jaw, the blonde sat up suddenly, fingers clicking as she shifted to begin to standm "well, I'll just lay low for a while. God knows that there'll be backlash for what I did." She stood. "Thank you for being so understanding. I'll keep on going on."

Ross nodded, their face settling back to their usual impassive expression. "Alright. I don't doubt I'll see you again soon." They leaned back into their seat. "I'm always here if you need me. Have a good day," they wished her.
