funky cool history teacher, he's going to be very not prepared to be around spies and constantly forgets people's names so he just refers to them by defining characteristics, for example, "red hair"

persuasive arts teacher (class info: persuasive arts aka manipulation and the study of the mind. this is basically a psychology class. teaches kids how the science of the mind connects to them communicating with others.)

𝙾𝚌𝚌𝚞𝚙𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗: History teacher

“Yes, I pay students in stickers. I don’t see your concern.”

𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢: Ontop of Professor Oak’s desk is a very large jar half filled with small rocks. If students bring in a rock for the jar, they get a sticker. What will he do with the rocks once it’s full? He has no idea. He’ll probably come up with some cool idea for them. He has a fish tank with frogs at the front of the classroom. Their names are Egbart (Egg) and Frito. His classroom is shaped like a circle theater (look it up, it’s pretty cool). In relationships (dating and not), he’s not big on large displays of PDA. It makes him uncomfortable. Instead, he prefers handholding under tables and hugs after hard days. (No, hugs and handholding are not indicative of romantic attraction) It’s really the little things that he finds important in a relationship. Remembering his loved ones’ birthday and writing down their likes and dislikes is really important to him. Also he’s literally the best person to go to when you have an allergy to something. He doesn’t play around with it, he knows how serious those can be. (check #7 in extra quirks for more information on why)
𝙴𝚡𝚝𝚛𝚊 𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚛𝚔𝚜: (view spoiler)[1. He found out his parents were also spies when he was recruited to be a history teacher. He honestly wasn’t surprised, it made sense. 2. Avid collector of pokemon cards and plushies. His entire closet is full of them. All of his clothes are on those wire racks and in dresser drawers. 3. He says he’s not a picky eater but he will not eat oatmeal. 4. Will pull out his phone in the middle of a lesson to respond to a student’s email. 5. Gives students his number on the first day of class and tells them to text him whenever or send him memes. (He especially appreciates when students send him memes about him or his class) 6. Very frequently forgets students’ names so points them out by defining characteristics and then just goes from there. Bonus: He only remembers their name in emergency situations and the last day of school, so maybe it’s just a choice to not use names. (he will use your name if you ask him to, he’s not a jerk) 7. His littlest sister has a pretty severe nut allergy, and he witnessed her go into anaphylactic shock after a family friend forgot about the allergy. After that, he made sure to pay a lot more attention to what is in the food he is eating and he never makes light of anyone else’s allergies. 8. He has a chipped tooth from a rollerskate race when he was 12 and he was going really fast and didn’t know how to stop yet and slammed into a wall but he did win so all is well. (true story) 9. He has sensitive teeth, not in the ‘i cannot chew ice’ way but the ‘i cannot eat chocolate because it makes my teeth hurt’ and no i will not explain further. 9. The only reason he really has this job (besides his parents being former cloud agents and him being one) is that he grew up learning a crap ton about spy history from his parents stories and obsessing over being a spy one day. Now, he teaches spies. I’d say that’s pretty close. (hide spoiler)]

𝙿𝚎𝚝 𝚙𝚎𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚜: Springtime allergies (he doesn’t know what it is but his eyes get all red and itchy and he needs to reapply eye drops every 5 minutes)
𝚂𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚐𝚝𝚑𝚜: Responding to student’s messages quickly (like within minutes)
𝚆𝚎𝚊𝚔𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚜: His tendency to ramble, confrontation (people confronting him and having to confront others)
