Chapter 9: (view spoiler)[ Love a good dual POV, and the roommates due to an emergency was a pretty good start to this one. Liking Hazel so far, not so much with Josh. Seeing how these two are going to start falling in love (hide spoiler)]

I enjoyed the story, especially the disastrous double dates.

I agree that it could have had a good ending without the unexpected pregnancy. Also how could she not realize that she missed her period for two months! Even if she is Hazel!

I expected to like this more.

Prologue - Chapter 5: (view spoiler)[Ngl i am relating much more to Josh atm and not Hazel maybe because I myself am an introvert who has a hard time socializing , I definitely sympathized with him when he couldn’t hold a conversations. Hazel’s energy on the other hand is electric and I am pretty amazed by how can one person be so unapologetically themselves. Her dad sounded like a jerk to me though. I feel Jack would be back before the two weeks are up and him and Hazel would end up living together at his apartment (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6-9: (view spoiler)[They don’t even realise and they spent more time with each other than the people they were supposed to be with on all three dates! The chemistry between them is insane although I feel something lacking from Josh’s side. He should have gotten more comfortable around Hazel by now but he speaks so little, sometimes i forget he is still in the room. I loved how nervous she was for meeting his family but they turned out to be absolute sweethearts. Now that Hazel is back in her own apartment, i am sure it won’t be long until they start missing each other (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10-16: (view spoiler)[Oh no them having drunk sex was so such a disappointing development, I honestly expected better from the author. I am getting a little frustrated that they still refuse to acknowledge whatever it is between them and insist on being friends. I am not sure it’s fair on all the people they are still going on blind dates with. Hazel has tired me out and her babbling about how she’d totally have sex with Josh again didn’t really gain a point in her favor for me. I hope they sort out their feelings soon (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17-21: (view spoiler)[oh come on!!!! Tyler was a dick in this one. I can’t believe he had the audacity to say that Hazel was being embarrassing. Josh and Hazel had sex consciously and still did not get together, it frustrated me to no end. I am glad that atleast now they’ve confessed to being in love to Emily and Dave respectively. I loved the hat Josh brought her at the fest. I am guessing Hazel is pregnant ?? Can’t say i am a fan of this trope honestly. For me, a spark is missing in this book (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[Nope that ending didn’t work for me at all, the baby angle didn’t fit in well with the rest of the book imo and it simply ruined everything for me. Josh should have ideally become more responsive as he got closer to Hazel but thinking back to it, i can only remember him being vocal while they had sex which made it difficult for me to maintain a connect with his character. The whole miscarriage scare was unnecessary and I resent the author for using it as a plot device. A disappointing read (hide spoiler)]
