-More detailed history-
Once upon a time, five divine entities of varying power set out to create a world. Despite their endless bickering, a stubborn compromise was made and eventually, it came into existence. They called it Yerth. Split into five regions controlled by each deity, Yerth was surviving well for a few millennia. Humans were thriving with evolutionary benefits they wouldn't have received for millions of years. With better lungs and if necessary, gills, humans were quickly the apex predators. They praised the deities that had created this world. Then, one by one, the gods started disappearing. There is nothing to intervene or answer prayers. Now, the birth of this world is a distant memory. What used to be clear borders now melt into each other and the pristine civilizations under godly rule have crumbled. What’s left is a land, abandoned and forgotten by history. The remaining generations live without a tether to their ancestors’ deities, and must find a way to work together to survive. This is a world without second chances. This is Yerth.
TLDR: Some humans have gills. This is very important information.

The First Craftsman- Martigan
The people living under the blessing of Martigan are known for their prodigal strength, near-endless endurance, and dimwittedness. They make up for their general lack of intelligence with hard work. They are a lot more emotion-driven and tend to not think before they act. They're known for respecting the land they have and the creatures that they exist with. The Bellris Isles is an area that is almost entirely ocean, and aside from a handful of small continents, the entirety of the world’s landmass is made of island chains and coral reefs. It's full of freshwater.
The Second Craftsman- Etiora
The people living under the blessing of Etiora are known for their high affinity for the supernatural, or seemingly supernatural abilities. They are not overly problematic but are very blunt, which can come off as rude. They have a very specific way of doing things and rarely divert from routine. They live in The Burning Flatlands The land is scorching hot, dominated by endless swathes of rocky desert, parched badlands, and winding rivers. Here, cold weather is rare, and water is scarce.

They tend to have a more inward focus, presenting somewhere between narcissism and insecurity. Noble Abyss The world is ocean as far as the eye can see. It's saltwater and is primarily inhabited by crocodiles and tropical fish. His land is next to Martigan's land, and recently the brackish water between them has spread to cover a fourth of the land. The concept of continents is widely regarded as fiction and it is littered with various deteriorating statues made by the prophets of Magnus.

Strict work conditions make it difficult for any innovative ideas to last long, and a lot of their technology is either nonfunctional or outdated by a decade. For example, they still use flip phones. It takes a while for new technology to reach them, so they continue to use what works. Technically, people here have access to the surface above their colonies but they never use it so it’s basically free territory to anyone who wants somewhere to camp out without conflict.
