The Procrastinators Book Club discussion

Welcome to the Binti Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on May 15th and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

Omg the dedication! it's also weird to see references to the UAE in literature because that barely happens (I live there currently).

I finished it! Even though it's quite short that was quite a bit of world-building!

Sorry I've been quiet - I have been having issues with posting. I'm almost done with the book and I have really been enjoying it. I agree on the nice worldbuilding packed in this short book. I really like Binti's character and I really hope (and expect) that she will negotiate things well between the two groups. It's good that the edan was there, but I also like the wonderful expression of the otjize having multiple purposes.
