Erin (ems84) | 2732 comments I have it on my watch list on Peacock!

Kandice | 4388 comments There is a massive, oversized poster at our local theater. I've asked if I can have it after the movie, and they said yes. I don't know what I'll do with it, but I want it!

I personally love the original, but will definitely see this.

My daughter was given the Dora the Explorer movie poster a few years ago by the local movie theater. We hung it on her wall. It’s double sided (the back is rearview of the front).

I have a Sin City poster like that! The theaters are usually pretty accommodating. They have so many they don't have a use for when the movie has gone. I have a lot of the strips they put above the actual theater entrance, about 6 inches by 36 inches, thick, almost plastic like,

I worked at Blockbuster back in the day before Netflix and pay per view killed the video rental business. I had all kinds of movie posters from working there!

Derrick | 1011 comments The Firestarter remake was pretty good! Before the movie, there was a preview for the Black Phone movie about the Joe Hill short story. It looks really good too!

Kandice | 4388 comments I saw it this morning. I went in with low expectations, and still left very disappointed. First, it was dark. Not in content, but actual lighting. I think they were going for mood, but all they really did was make it hard to see what was happening, facial expressions and the like. The music was not good or well placed. The score was good, and if it had been placed better and the volume controlled a bit more, I think it would have helped the movie quite a bit. My biggest complaint is (view spoiler)

Joan | 41 comments Favorite quote from Stephen King: "We live our lives on one side of the door; on the other is all of eternity. Time is the wind that blows through the keyhole."

Flower | 79 comments Kandice, I hate it when they do that. King's stories are so much more than just horror. It's the psychological part why I love them so much. Unfortunately that makes most movies horrible in my opinion.

Erin (ems84) | 2732 comments I saw it over the weekend, I have to say I felt pretty underwhelmed. I didn't outright hate it but I can't say I loved it either, it just seemed pretty average.

I was disappointed they left out that part too. I didn’t have any problems with the lighting though. Usually I do when I watch movies on TV but not this time.

Robert Kratky (bolorkay) | 54 comments I wonder when this is going to show up on HBO Max? Probably in a week or two.

Scott | 1 comments I watched it on Peacock and it was good, nothing spectacular but enjoyable. No, it wasn't exactly like the book. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Stephen King movie or TV series that was perfectly true to the books over the last 40 years. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
