In our day and age, it's becoming ever more difficult to find books to read that are clean and well-written. That's why it's so important that we, as children of God, help each other out. If anyone ever has a book recommendation that's clean and has good themes, do mention it here! And if anyone knows of any authors who write clean stories, do share as well!

Celia (cealcrest) | 137 comments To help figure out if a book is clean or not, you can take advantage of the Goodreads "search review text" feature. Quite a few reviewers include "trigger warnings" (or TW) in their reviews, so it's really helpful to be able to search reviews for any content you want to avoid.

How To Access the "Search Review Text" Feature
Note: This feature is not available on the Goodreads app or mobile version of the website. Instructions on how to access the desktop version of the site from your mobile device are included at the end of this post.

Scroll down to just above the start of the reviews to find the "Search Review Text" field. (See Image 1 below.)

How To Access the Desktop Version of the Goodreads Website Using Your Mobile Device

On your mobile device, open your browser (such as a Safari or Chrome) and navigate to the Goodreads website.

Go to any book's page and scroll all the way to the bottom. You will see a link *below* the App Store button that says "Desktop version" or "Mobile version." (See Image 2 below.)

If you see "Desktop version," then tap that link. If it says "Mobile version," then you are already on the desktop site.

iPhone users also have the option of tapping the aA symbol in the URL bar and then tapping "Request Desktop Website." (See Image 3 below.)

Ali Noel I’ve only read the first 2 so far but Skyward and Starsight by Brandon Sanderson have both been excellent and clean so far!
Another good trilogy not a lot of people know of is Storm Siren, Siren’s Fury, and Siren’s Song by Mary Weber (she is a Christian Fantasy Author)

They aren’t. I’ve read Book Lovers by her, and there’s sex before marriage and even worse it’s very smutty. I would recommend going for someone else.

Moonscript (Tons of grammatical issues, but it's a wonderful story.)

Magnify (Storm & Spire series. But the elves are almost all evil.)

Fierce Heart (And the rest of the series. With clean romance.)
