Reading Through The Year With L. M. Montgomery (2022-23) discussion

L.M. Montgomery's memoir of her childhood and her early years as a writer, originally published as a series of magazine articles in 1917. This is only a short book, 96 pages and I think it is a good introduction to Maud before picking up her journals, which I am considering reading with the group later in the year.

I read this last week and what struck me was how much she had written before Anne of Green Gables with limited success. She built up her skill over many years.
