Nick Crutchley (nickcrutchley) | 14 comments Hi

I used to be able to change the text and cover for this book. I have recently updated the cover and back blurb, and would like Goodreads to reflect it. Can this only be done by librarians? Or have i lost my librarian status for my author membership?

Best wishes

Nick

Scott | 9494 comments Typically authors are not allowed to retain librarian status.

I have created the alternate cover edition for this book. Covers should never be changed on the same record.

Hi Scott

I always did upload an alternative cover version, back in the day when i had librarian status. I am grateful for you creating the new one, though I am currently testing the cover to see how it looks as a thumbnail. I might ask you to replace it at some point.

I am considering leaving the title and author off the book. Does Goodreads require the author name and book title on the front cover? Does Amazon?

Finally, when finalised, I may well ask you to make the description I gave as the default description for all editions. At the moment, I am still uploading the new final cover and text. I hope this does not inconvenience you.

I hope you are well.

Best regards

Nick Crutchley

Scott | 9494 comments You can put whatever you want on the cover. But please just let us know when it is definitely final, so we don't have to keep changing it.
