Helen already thought that being illegitimate would be a problem because Rhys wanted her as a trophy bride to up his standing in society. Finding out how much Rhys hated Vance was like a death blow to her hopes and dreams of a Rhys coming to love her. Helen would have told him, that is the person she is. I wasn't surprised she looked for her half-sister.
Helen being Helen would definitely tell Rhys her secret paternity and also try to rescue her sister. That's just the way she is.
I agree that Helen would tell Rhys before the "I dos," but I felt like she put it off too long. The many delays didn't feel like Helen, but I understood her fear. I knew that Helen would look for her sister, but I thought she would get Rhys's help. Her quest to find her alone surprised me. It also showed me how strong Helen is.
There was no way Helen would marry Rhys without first telling him about her true paternity. Dishonesty just isn’t in her nature. And, I knew she’d look for her sister as soon as she learned about her. There was never a doubt.
I knew she'd tell Rhys that Albion was her father. It just took her a little while because she didn't want to lose Rhys. And I was sure she would go looking for her half-sister eventually.
