Gaming (video and tabletop), building plastic models and painting miniatures. I'm terrible at all 3 but they keep me out of trouble.

I don't think I have the patience or skill for models. But I always look at them when I'm in a store and think it's something I'd like to get into.

I'm sure you'd be fine at it. The more expensive kits from brands like Tamiya have more parts but are better engineered so they are assemble much better without as many issues.
Felina wrote: "I’m a cross stitcher and recently diamond painter. Kevin - Warhammer? My husband does that."
Yes. I don't play wargames but I enjoy painting the models.
My husband does tournaments though he says he isn’t very good at playing and enjoys the painting most.
Felina wrote: "My husband does tournaments though he says he isn’t very good at playing and enjoys the painting most."I've watched some matches at my local game store in between me losing Magic The Gathering rounds. Seems too complicated for me. I'm rather primitive.

I want to learn to cross stitch just so I can make a bunch of stuff with curse words. I see them online and they just crack me up. Or make cool Harry Potter or Supernatural ones to decorate with. So, when you move to Florida I'll come visit you and Marie and you can teach me!

I bought a really cool Ghostbuster's car that has been sitting in the box for a couple of years because I'm afraid I'll screw it up.

I'm a huge metalhead and love going to concerts, bar-hopping, sharing metal stories, and just the whole metal/concert scene. I haven't done it since 2019 due to the pandemic but I have many cherished memories.Besides that, I love trying different kinds of coffee, gaming, and being a conversationalist. I love to talk and have conversations with others that are so memorable, years later they still remember them :-)
@Felina: YES! I remember writing letters to pen pals about wrestling, music, comic books, you name it. I also miss those late-night conversations on regular phones :-)
i like tocook, watch youtube, listen to music, write stories/poetry (not very good lol)
i gotten back into jewelry making (made several beaded bracelets)
i also like taking walk and chatting with my online friends.
@LTG- i used to be an avid wrestling watcher years ago. i gotten my sister and cousin hooked on it. lol
So many interesting ideas and hobbies you all share! What a marvelous group you all are.
For me, it would be cooking, writing, home brewing, and coop board games.

@Sassy: That's so awesome! I used to LOVE old-school ECW, those legendary WCW Monday Night Nitro shows, and of course, the whole WWF Attitude error, some great matches indeed! Who is your all-time favorite wrestler?
@LTG- didn’t start watching until WWE but i remember watching ECW. i loved watching Monday Night RAW and Smackdownyou’re going to make me choose a favorite wrestler? 😫
that’s like choosing your favorite book. lol
@LTG-top 3? that’s still hard. lol i’ll just leave a list in random order.
1. Jeff Hardy
2. The Undertaker
3. Kane
4. Edge
5. John Cena
6. Rey Mysterio
7. CM Punk
and the list goes on. lol
how about you?
Wrestling is one thing I have zero clue about. My path has never crossed with it and nobody that I know IRL is into it.

@Sassy: Great choices! Okay, I'll do Top 7...1 - Sabu
2 - Rob Van Dam
3 - The Sandman
4 - Dean Malenko
5 - Stone Cold Steve Austin
6 - The Undertaker
7 - Kane
@Felina: No worries! I know with pro wrestling, either you love it or don't. LoL very rarely is there anyone in between, at least in the countless ECW shows, sporting events, and metal concerts I've been to. A lot of people I met/know absolutely hate wrestling but to each their own :-)
I don’t dislike it. It’s as foreign to me as Bollywood. I am so unfamiliar with it I am not allowed to have an opinion on it. The closest I’ve come is Nacho Libre.
Everybody loves Nacho Libre. If you don’t like it you need to do some self reflections. No offense to anybody that doesn’t like it. *runs out of the thread*

You guys are taking me back with the wrestler lists! Have either of you ever gone to an event? I went to one major event, King Of the Ring summer of 2000, I had floor seats. I think I still have the seat somewhere, back then you were allowed to take them with you. Not sure if they still do that now.
Another event was a few years later, they did a tour to a local outdoor center. I can't think of the date, I tried looking it up but they only came back with a house show that was in the mid 90's but I am fairly certain it was in the 2000s. I remember Christian and Edge being there.
I'm keen on creative pursuits but not really good at any of them lol but I also do martial arts so that is a lot of fun! :D
I don't have a lot outside of reading - video games and I do crafts - I have made holiday wreaths and some other crafty things. I collect Stephen King movies (that's a hobby right? - lol), I collect coffee mugs (but they are not displayed right now - still packed up in boxes from my last move), and I had started scrap booking about three years ago.

I must be the old man here. I watched WWF when I was a kid.
It was the Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Ric Flair and Superfly Jimmy Snuka days.
Good memories for sure!
@Erin: Oh yes! I've gone to hundreds of original ECW shows at "The Madhouse of Extreme" right here in Queens, NY, Philadelphia at the ECW Arena, Poughkeepsie, Buffalo, even one in Florida! Due to my ECW loyalty, I have never gone to a single WCW, WWF/WWE, or independent wrestling event ever :-D

I have so many hobbies that I'm not doing! Photography, writing, guitar, playing video games besides Fallout 76 (my current habit).
I'm a hiker/backpacker. I like to go out and hit the trails with my brother.. Not a long distance/thru-hiker, I'm more of a weekend warrior. I'm also a gamer, currently on PS5.

We have a gamer thread on here Jonathan. Come check it out. There are quite a few of us gamers lurking around in the group. lol

I enjoy gardening and I also collect vintage costume jewelry. My main hobby is model horse art. I buy old model horses, mostly Breyers that are beat up or broken and then I fix them up. Some are simple repaints, others I do a minor customization to, such as changing the mane or tail, or repositioning the head/neck. I occasionally do a drastic custom, where I cut the model apart, reposition and re-sculpt into a completely different model before I paint them.
Studying Chinese. I consider it a hobby, as I do not study to get a degree anymore, I just do it for myself now.
@Holly - I’d like to see some before and after pictures of that. I don’t know what a Breyers is so my imagination is on full of all sorts of visuals. @Sacha - that’s a good idea. I have been trying and failing to learn Spanish my entire life. Why not make it a hobby! My dad kinda speaks it (didn’t teach us, lame) basically the entirety of my dads side of the family and my husband speaks it. I could easily converse with people to get better at it. Can’t believe I never though of it. I’d be able to talk to alia! I mean, she never said she speaks Spanish but I make broad assumptions based on t he fact that she lives in Mexico.
@Erin: Awesome! Yeah, I think the 80s, 90s, and early 00s were the hotspot in all of professional wrestling. It's not the same anymore, unfortunately :-(
Oh yeah! Huge fan of collecting stuff! I mostly like action figures, the majority of ours are Buffy figures. But we also have a lot of POPS and Alien/ Preditor figures. We also have quite a few Walking Dead lego sets that are so fun to put together and display! And I have quite a few Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit figures too! Collecting is the best!!!
