What tropes do you hate in movies/TV/Books that seem keep coming back?

I'm an officer in the U.S. army and EOD technician. I despise the scene (so often used) where someone stands on a landmine, hears a click, then everyone tries to save him/her. If you hear a click, it's a dud. Landmines go off. A click means you only have to do one thing . . . change your underwear.

Silent silencers, especially on revolvers.

Good/bad guy bullets. Good guys put out eyes at 200 yards with a snub nosed pistol while bad guys can't hit the broad side of a barn with a scoped rifle at half the distance.

500 yard shots with rifles that are snapped together & then dragged through the dirt & weeds.

Cars that squeal wheels on dirt & constantly shift into higher gears.

Horses that constantly snort & whinny.

Spaceships that fly as if they're in atmosphere, complete with whooshing sounds.

I could go on...
