Description:With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.

Even learning more about Warner's past and his real motivations for wanting Juliette, I'm not a fan. When he explained to her all of the things he was "actually" doing, he was laughing at her for being so stupid and believing him to be a monster. He's toxic and still needs to go. I hate that she likes him now.

Did we ever know why Warner is able to (view spoiler)[sense people's emotions? He already has a "power," so where does this one come from? Why does he have two? (hide spoiler)]...

And Adam is still being a jerk. I get why he's upset, but he doesn't have to be so mean to Juliette!

Now that Juliette has found herself and her people, I'd love to see her parents come back into the picture and be like - that's our little girl, we've always believe you would be something special! Lol.

I think this book has us look at perception...our perception of events is not necessarily what was really happening. Case in point Juliette thought Warner had her really torturing a child when in fact it was a simulation. In my opinion it doesn't make it any better. Also, the shooting of the solider was viewed as Warner being ruthless but I give that one to Warner...the solider needed to die because he was torturing his own family. Don't get me wrong I am not really a fan of Warner but I do think he is misunderstood. He has made bad decisions but some of them were for his own preservation.

Maybe it is one power that exhibits itself in more than one way. I like his power. It reminds me of Rogue.

So do you like Adam or Warner better for Juliette? This is a Edward or Jacob scenario.

I like the change in Juliette. Kenji is my favorite character.

Adam is being a royal jerk!

I agree. I see why he did things but he definitely didn't always go about doing it the right way. I suppose he had to make people think he was like his father so they would respect him.

It is! I'm not really sure. I like Adam, but he's acting like a jerk so I think he needs to do some serious apologizing or J needs to stay away from him. Although, she's admitted that she doesn't think she ever really loved him, so...

I don't like Warner and I feel J is just with him because she doesn't want to be alone. How could she seriously fall in love with him after the way he treated her and almost killed Adam?

Honestly, I would be much more happy at this point if she said screw it to both of them and just learned how to be happy without a man, lol.

Definitely! I like that Juliette has now become a leader of the resistance. Katniss anyone.

Finished! I really enjoyed it. I absolutely love Kenji!!!! I like that Juliette went from being a victim to owning her own destiny. I so wasn't a fan of Warner but I changed my mind. Juliette and Warner make a good fit. They complement each other...bring out the best in each other. Adam is a total jerk!!!! Do you want to finish this series? Read the next one Friday or Monday?

I still don't like Warner, lol. I like seeing Juliette gain confidence. I'll read the next one. Friday works.
