My latest book,
Chasing Shadows
written with shark biologist Greg Skomal, is coming out this July (during Shark Week!), but you can get an advance copy in our Goodreads Galley Giveaway that launches next week! At its heart, the book is a conservation success story about the resurgence of the white shark population in the western North Atlantic told through the eyes of the scientist who found himself in the middle of it all. In my career as a science writer, I have not had enough opportunities to write about the restoration of an apex predator to an ecosystem, so this was a pretty cool project!

Great project, Ret! Once you have a link to the Goodreads Giveaway, feel free to create a new, separate "topic" within this folder with the link to the giveaway.
Will you do a NetGalley listing as well?

I have the link, and I will do that. I'm not sure what a NetGalley listing is?

NetGalley is a service where readers can receive & review advance reader copies. I don't have a NetGalley account, but I've read a lot of reviews on Goodreads that will start out by saying, "I received a free copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review," or something to that effect. Seems popular.

I use Netgalley on a regular basis. It‘s a great way to get free books in exchange for reviewing them.
