I'm currently reading a series of books by M.K. Kelly about genealogy investigators headquartered in Wales.
In addition to the book by Jorge Amado that I have already mentioned, I am reading a book by a female writer and a male Portuguese writer, Natália Correia and Mário de Carvalho.
Just read The Four Loves. My first C. S. Lewis read. I'd recommend it for something light and positive.

I just finished the latest in the Cork O'Connor books by William Kent Krueger. Title is Fox Creek and it has more spirituality in it than his earlier books. Always makes me want to go visit them and Uncle Henry. peace, janz
