Absolutely beautiful book, and I LOVE the ending but...
did anyone feel kinda sad that Elian didn't get to rule the see alongside Lira instead of visiting her? :'(

Actually, I don't think it was that sad. Yeah, they're not really together, exploring the world, but they still got what they wanted. In a way. Elian is not ruling on his kingdom, he's out there exploring the world.
And Lira, well, she defeated her mother, she has the throne that she wanted, and she has peace with humans and among her people.

The ending was beautiful yet so sad. I really hoped karma to hit the mother and for a happy ending for Lira...

yes, I know. I was satisfied, but I was wanting Elian and Lira to be together.
wasnt the best ending ive ever read although im so happy it is a stand-alone
I LOVE the ending but i am sad that lira didn't get to explor the world with Elian...
