The Martian and also Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. The Cradle series by Will Wight. If you like the first book even a little, keep going at least to the third book. After that, if you are enjoying it, be prepared to want to binge the rest. The series just keeps getting better and better.
The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells are short but great stories.
1) Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel--just such a great story/ great narrator 2) The Dutch House by Ann Patchet (read by Tom Hanks!!)
3) if you like John Ajvide Lindqvist: Let the Right one In
4) if you liked Recursion, I feel like you might like Wanderers by Chuck Wendig. it's not the same premise but like recursion, it's unique and creative SciFi with relatable characters and real relationships
5) if you like magic, one of the best ever audiobooks I've ever listened to is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern OR if you can stick with it (slow start, great pay off, AWESOME narrator) Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norell by Susanna Clarke.
I also loved several of your titles. I would recommend Circe and also Shantaram. Shantaram is 43 hours so should keep you busy for a while.
