I was confused for a while, getting everyone sorted out in my head. There are a lot of characters to get to know !

But, when I got to know them and thought I had cleverly worked out who it was that committed the murder, I was on a great ride.

Lol, I was soo wrong with guessing the culprit !

Great series. I can't wait to read the second book now.

I really would love to see the house with all the drawings

As you work your way through the series you get to picture each character in your head. The same applies to the location of each of the character’s homes. In reality the village of Three Pines doesn’t exist (I just came back from
The Eastern Townships in Québec) but various places throughout the area gave Ms Penny the inspiration. It also helps, somewhat, to watch the Three Pines 🌲🌲🌲 séries on Prime even though it doesn’t follow the stories. It gives you a glimpse into the lives of the characters. Nevertheless, the books, combined with our individual imaginations, brings the stories to life.
