What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

-This book is The Calling by James Frey- I read this book in the mid-2010s, 2017-2018 if I had to make an exact guess. I don't remember the author, title, or cover. Some solid details I do remember: The start of the quest is signaled by a meteor, or at least some big thing falling from the sky. One of the characters is already married with a daughter that she had very young, like 13 or 14. Because of that, she's able to help a 13-year-old girl deliver her baby on a bus in China. One of the youngest contestants in the game, around 12-13, is completely psychopathic. But he has a weird obsession/love for a girl. She's another contestant, maybe? If I remember correctly, there is an accident in Stonehedge during their quest and she's crushed by a rock and dies. One of the contestants is from South America, and his parents are crime lords. The oldest contestent is 20, and she wishes she had aged out of the game. She's Scottish...I think? I don't remember what the quest is, but it's something these kids' families have been training them for their whole lives. The plot was so messed up, and I can't find anything resembling this book anywhere so I really hope I didn't imagine it.
