I need to recollect myself. That fight with Zane! Everything after the fight with Zane!!
I don't want to be that person who says it after it happens, but I always only suspected OreSeur to be the spy, although my suspicions did falter more and more with time. He became such a good friend, I just didn't want it to be him, but no one else would have been as convenient. On the other hand I didn't even dream about him actually being a different kandra. Looking at it back, it makes sense now.
Honestly, I thought there would be drama and Elend and Vin would just end up fighting, but I am slowly getting used to not expecting any cliche from Sanderson. And also SO pleasantly surprised by his sensitivity and romantic side.
I was overwhelmed, the wedding and everything. I was sure I liked the Final Empire more, but the last few chapters BLEW MY MIND.

I am so glad that Vin decided to marry Eland but I really thought that would not happen in this book. I really need to get off of here and continue reading as I can not put this book down.

These last few chapters were just so damn good! I never suspected OreSeur to be the spy and was slightly gutted. But I love how he still gave her his support.
Elend and Vin.. What am I supposed to say about these two other than how awesome they are?! I like how they're relationship isn't overly done on the romance side of things.
Sazed, I'm just in love with. :)

Should we trust that TenSoon really took on the hodgepodge dog form and went to his home? Did TenSoon really serve Zane or Straff? Is OreSeur dead?
So, Zane wasn't insane, eh? I tried to go back and see if Zane mentioned when the voice started, but didn't find anything. Could it be connected to the mist creature that Vin keeps seeing/sensing? Could it be connected to Kell in some way?

Also, I never suspected OreSeur!

Honestly, I loved the character of Zane, and I almost wanted Vin to go with him just to make things interesting.
I suspected OreSeur the whole time, but my conviction really wavered as I kept reading. But he's a favorite character of mine. I hope that he comes back!
I'm still not buying into the whole Vin/Elend romance. I just don't care for it, which is maybe why I wanted her to go with Zane.

What was that?!?! That was crazy!!!
I'm crushed about OreSeur. I really really really hope he decides to rebel and comes with Vin and Elend on their adventure.
Yes! Zane's death scene was so crazy! I'm so happy he's gone, he was a really compelling villain though. But Vin and Elend are awesome together and for each other and so glad Vin figured it out. I don't think I would of enjoyed the book as much if she went dark side and took off with Zane. Vin and Elend's relationship seems so really and not over played. I could see a real couple interacting they way they do and I love it!! Their marriage is so cute and so awesome, I'm glad it happened now!
I'm hoping Sazed and the rest of the crew gets out of this some how. I don't think I can deal with everyone dying. And if they did Vin's going to flip out. I'm hoping Marsh comes to the rescue.
What was that God voice btw? That was crazy!

I loved the character of Zane and that last battle - intense! The God voice has got to have some explanation later on. Vin made the right choice going with Elend though. The wedding was so sweet!
I had absolutely no idea OreSeur/TenSoon was the spy! That was a shock. I'm so glad he had a bit of redemption at the end though although I don't think that's the last we're going to be seeing of the Kandra.
I adore Sazed. He is such a cool character. This book is amazing. Wow.

Absolutely!! Right before Vin realized she was wrong to go with Zane I thought "Argh! So cliché! I can't believe this book is not as good as TFE!" And then, Bam! Awesome fight scene, great surprises, and an even more amazing realization from Vin: trust is the key! I loved that!

I was just wondering the exact same things. Could the mistwraith be Kelsier? (or is that just my wishful thinking?) And could this God be the mistwraith?
Amaaaaaazing!!!
Things are starting to pick up! What do you think will happen later in the book? Do you suspect anyone? Are you liking this more or less than the first book in the trilogy?
