So...I don't have as much practice/talent with this like you guys do, but I'm hoping to get better. ^^ So this is pretty much just a topic for me to practice and maybe even get some feedback from you guys? Just be gentle with my tender soul. Like I said, I don't do this often, so I don't have much created, but I have been practicing, so this is what I have so far:

I'll try to update and add new stuff I make. ^^ I'm also running out of material to practice on, so...Maybe you guys would want me to attempt something? Unless you don't want me to butcher your characters. > ~ < I don't really have a specific template, but I guess it would be something like:

Type: Single character, character collage, or character profile.
Pictures: Single Character: 1-2 pics (Which one you want to have as your background, unless you have no preference)
Character Collage: 1-3 pics (Which one will be your background)
Character Profile: 1-2 pics (Though I haven't tested yet with more than one picture.)
Saying (Optional): Try not to make it too long, unless you want a larger picture.
Theme: Light or dark, or if you just want me to play around with it.
Other (Optional): What's the general feel you want? Dark, depressing? Light and bubbly? What's the story? Is the character a nerd, are they a jock? Are they keeping a secret, or are they an open book? This will help me figure out how the picture should look when it's done. Hopefully.
Character Profile: The information you want on there, the style, the colors, etc. Basically what you want the end product to look like.

Nope. I used the online image editor site Kikki said she uses. I don't have Photoshop. XD

Btw, I like the concept. But with those texts, I think it'll be more awesome if the image was darker.

Which image, the bird or the person? Or are you talking about the picture as a whole?

The overlay is good, you just need to put the bird somewhere else so it's not mixed up with the face of the guy behind.

Yes, with the overlayed picture, make sure the white part of the overlayed image isn't shown next time ;)

Since online image editor has limited function, maybe you can try with a transparent background image. It's .PNG files.

Nope, I use the exact same online editor as you.

It's great! But like the others said, maybe next time make it so you can't see the edges of one within the whole graphic?

The website I use for layering is Pixlr (I actually use either Photoshop Elements or CS5/CS6 but I do use Pixlr when I have to), and if you watch/read a few tutorials you can learn how to select part of an image to layer so you don't get the whole thing. That can also be helpful ^^"

So far that I know, Pixlr editor is the closest to Photoshop. It's a great alternative

I tried that, but stretching it was the only way I could make it to where the border of the bird's picture wasn't seen. > . <'
