Hero, Simon and Jamie Knox’s son Patrick accompanied Sebastian on this trip to Paris. Could he have solved the mystery of who killed his mother without Hero?

I don't think so or it would have taken longer. Hero has connections through Jarvis that Sebastian doesn't have. Also, there are times that woman to woman talks revealed information that Sebastian wouldn't get.

I agree, Sharon. I’m not sure he could have. Hero gained access to people he couldn’t and learned things he probably would never have. And, she’s the one he can discuss theories with and help sift through clues. Plus, she was the one who got access to Fanny.

I agree -- Hero was indispensable.

Hero has a different way of approaching people than Sebastian does. She is invaluable to him in that people don't suspect her of investigating, she is just engaging them in conversation.
