Jim Maher | 2 comments Got to love a general stuff folder.

Neil McFarlane (neilroymcfarlane) | 23 comments That's the first week complete. Yay!

Loren, you should see your reviews being posted over the next few days. If there are any 4-star or lower reviews, the group member will check with you first to see if you want it posted or not.

I'm interested to know where you got the idea for your story. If you'd like to share here, maybe the others would like to hear too. (I bet everyone wants to know if you're a huge solitaire fan!)

Loren Lockner | 6 comments Hi again: My daughter--around 8 at the time--played solitaire on the computer with me as she sat on my lap. During one game, she asked me to tell her a story--so I started out with "Once upon a time--there was a king who never listened to his daughter." She said that was a good start and to tell her more--and that is how The Solitaire Prince was born. The dedication is to my daughter--Annina--because she inspired me to pursue an unusual story line. She feels that the cover looks just like her! Cheers, Loren (Tyan)

Cy Wyss (cywyss) | 3 comments Hi Loren, that's a really cool genesis story. Great book, too. Thanks!

Loren Lockner | 6 comments Thanks! And now I'm happily deep inside bedtime stories by Neil!

Neil McFarlane (neilroymcfarlane) | 23 comments Nice story, Loren. So you owe it all to your daughter! What's her royalty share?

Neil McFarlane (neilroymcfarlane) | 23 comments Hi guys, I think we'll have a little delay to catch up before starting on Ruthz's book, which will be the last one for this cycle.

message 9: by Loren (new)

Loren Lockner | 6 comments Thanks! I haven't had a chance to start yet.

Tim Learn | 5 comments Sad...only one more cycle. It was fun having something different each week to jump into. It will be missed.

message 11: by Neil (new)

Neil McFarlane (neilroymcfarlane) | 23 comments The plan is for this to continue, maybe after a week's break (after we've done Ruthz's book). So feel free to join in in a couple of weeks when we start a new cycle. Also if anyone has read any good books recently and thinks the author might be interested in this group, feel free to invite them to join us. Maybe we can get up to ten members.

Neil McFarlane (neilroymcfarlane) | 23 comments Hi Guys

Things are getting a bit messy as we reach the home stretch. Oh well.

I should be receiving all your reviews of Jim's book tomorrow, and I was holding off on starting on Ruthz's book until everything else is complete.

However, I think what we'll do is just go on and start Ruthz's book and then whatever's left over can be tidied up in due course.

I don't have internet at home so I'm just going online every 2 or 3 days (I recommend it!) so it's difficult for me to keep on top of things if I have to chase people up for late reviews. Hope you guys can make my life easy!

Ruthz, how about we start your book on Monday? If that's OK, could you tell us the title and let us know when it's 0.99.

Thanks!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Loren Lockner | 6 comments I am almost finished with Jim's book. (At 75%) I hope to finish it tonight. The plan sounds good!
