From the title, it makes it seem like it's another version of Alice in Wonderland. But then from the description, it doesn't seem like it's gonna be like that at all. I think it's going to be very interesting to see how the book plays out and I am very excited for it!

I've heard that it's nothing like Alice in Wonderland, seems like they just borrowed the name or something.

and I haven't read anything with zombies or anything but if anyone is looking for a Alice in Wonderland style book I would recommend the Splintered series by A G Howard. I'm on book two at the moment on a buddy read and it's a great series so far :)

Oh my gosh I've noticed a lot of people reading that series. I might give it a shot this summer.

Ok so I just have to say (view spoiler)[how can the parents forget her birthday?! I would understand it if her parents were mean and abusive, but from what I'm reading they don't sound that way. Her dad sounds crazy, but her mom seems perfectly fine. So she should have at least have remembered Alice's birthday. I just don't understand. That's stupid, in my opinion. Maybe it's important to the story though? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Poor Alice. There has been too much deviation from the "monsters" to another high school story involving the hot boy and his jealous girlfriend. I hope the next few chapters would highlight more about those strange things that Ali's father sees! (hide spoiler)]

I found it really boring. there were loads of info-dumps, and it was very repetative. you might like it more though ☺

(view spoiler)[So, it kind of bothers me how Emma, the youngest, didn't act like the little girl she was supposed to be. I mean, seriously, the way she reacts and talks doesn't sound appropriate for her age.

At this point of the story, I'm just interested to know why there are monsters specifically targeting Ali or her family. And what's up with all the visions she had been receiving. I am not into the romance that's going on. (if you could even categorize that as romance) (hide spoiler)]
