To be fair, when I tried to message you just now, it said "Sorry, this person isn't accepting messages." That's because the default settings changed a while ago so that only your friends or a specific group (not sure if this includes mods) can message you. So it's possible he/she might not have been able to either, even as a mod

There's nothing inappropriate about a moderator commenting in one of your threads asking about a different one of your threads. We do that all the time here when a member has been inactive for awhile, so threads don't languish unsolved forever.

We don't send private messages to people unless there's no other way to communicate with them.

At any rate, it's moot now because we don't tolerate members insulting other members, or moderators, blatantly and crudely as you did.
