Strictly speaking, I hadn't read this one because it wasn't out yet; but I feel like it counts. I love this series, and I can't be believe she's already on book #40! I'm not much into romance books (and am struggling with the romance reading for this challenge), but the author does not let her Nora Roberts persona take over her JD Robb persona in these books - they are mysteries, set in the future. They are definitely character-driven, and I read them more for the people than the actual mysteries involved.
